Speaking

I've given a number of public talks to a wide range of audiences. In addition to the items in the gallery below, I've also done a lot of work in schools, from science talks and demos to broader career talks to dedicated semester-long mentorship programs.

I'd be thrilled to speak at or participate in your upcoming event--feel free to reach out through my contact form.

Ignite Talk

A 5-minute, 20-slide talk with timed transitions, about how fundamental science research can translate to unexpected social impacts. I gave this talk as part of the 2025 Champagne Supernova fundraiser event at the Lawrence Hall of Science.

Space Talk

I gave a talk about dark matter in the Liberty Science Center planetarium, where I worked with their animators to develop a set of custom planetarium animations for the talk. A recording is available here!

Astronomy on Tap

I gave a Pride-themed Astronomy on Tap at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn in June 2024.

Cosmic Happy Hour

I delivered a talk about dark matter to a packed house at Book Club Bar in Manhattan at the inaugural Cosmic Happy Hour.

Podcasts

I've been invited to speak about my research on a couple of podcasts--they're linked below.

Looking for a physicist for your podcast? Feel free to get in touch through my contact form!

The Academic Minute

I wrote and recorded a short summary of the results from one of my papers on The Academic Minute. It was their most listened-to segment of 2022!

NSF Discovery Files

I was invited to speak about dark matter and the Cosmic Microwave Background on the NSF Discover Files podcast in August 2022. There's also a YouTube Short of the zoom call we used to record the interview.
